Advanced Higher Art

That's it. There is the final product. 18 A1 sheets that were sent to the SQA and are now back with a grade that I won't find out until August. So yeah...that's it over, it's all done. 18 sheets, 1 essay, 2 A5 sketchbooks, 1 A4 sketchbook, 1 A3 sketchbook, and 1 mannequin (also A LOT of noodles in the last 5 weeks to keep us going). I better get a bloody A.

Now I'm left with a whole bunch of artwork that I didn't use in the final thing I need to find space in my house for...

Die Walküren - The Valkyries

So I finally got my costume finished. There was a lot that I had to skip and miss out like the spikes on the back which I was gutted about. Never the less I'm really happy with these photos and I had the best model as well. So glad the costumes done....time to finish off my 18 sheets to go with it....

Valkyries Rising

Final piece for the Paolozzi prize/ideastap competition. Based on the apocalypse and my Valkyries 'rising', uses different techniques learnt from a portfolio course and the first one has red lighting on it to show the depths and shadows created by the 3D objects on the painting. It uses soil, plants, metal and an old firgure drawing doll paper mache'd. Also did some spray painting and some stencil work on it.
